Changing Europe-researching the history and geography of modern Europe

From the 16th until the 18th of June we held our 3rd Transnational Meeting in France. Once again it has been a great pleasure to share these days with all the project members (Poland, Wales, Greece, Ireland, France and Spain) . A great opportunity for us all being able to see our French partners working on the ground and enjoying their hospitality!

Here is our presentation about how our local area (Llanelli and Swansea) was affected by The Blitz During the early years of The Second World War. The research was carried out by our Year 5 pupils.

Dear friends, We would like to share with you , all the different paintings we have done at school related to the PEACE PROJECT. So far, we have worked in cooperative groups (two or three students) and we have painted a picture related to peace. In a few days we will vote for the one we like the most . The picture chosen will represent our school in the banner we will have together. We send you a video . We hope you like our paintings!!!

What is Wales?

Dear all, We are 5th grade students from Escola Pia Olot, in Girona, Spain. We hope you like our Power Point presentations about your wonderful countries (Poland, United Kingdom, Greece, France and Ireland). We have really enjoyed working on them!

Tradycyjnie przywitaliśmy gości Krakowiakem. Uczniowie przygotowali taniec pod opieką pana Michała Zięby. Poniżęj filmik z powitania. Traditionaly we wellcomed our guest dancing Krakowiak. Students were prepared by Michał Zięba , our PE teacher. You can see the short video below.   Krakowiak Goście  nie tylko obserwowali zajęcia, ale też grali/bawili się razem z naszymi uczniami.  Guests not only observed the lessons but also took part in some activities.  17 Coordinators and teachers taking part in ERASMUS+ project "Changing Europe" have met for the first time face to face. The meeting took place at Polish school in Czasław from 30th January to 1st February 2018. Partners review the project timetable and  responsibilities of each partner. They also observed lessons at Polish school. The observation was mainly focused on teaching Maths. Spotkanie odbtło się w polskiej szkole partnerskiej w Czasławiu w dniach 30 stycznia do pierwszego lutego 2018. Przeanalizowano plan pracy projektowej i obowiązki każdego z krajów partnerskich.Goście obserwowali zajęcia w polskiej szkole. In order to promote our project in Poland we created  a banner with the photos from our partner schools. The banner is 150 cm high and 200cm long. It is displayed in front of our school.  W celu promocji projektu polska szkoła stworzyła baner ze zdjęciami ze szkół partnerskich.  Jest wysoki na 150 cm , długi na 200cm, zawiesiliśmy go na przeciwko naszej szkoły.

Od 1 pażdziernika realizujemy nowy projekt w ramach programu Erasmus+ " Changing Europe- Researching the History and Geograpy of Modern Europe" . Głównym koordynatorem jest szkoła z Walii. W projekcie biorą udział  dwie szkoły z Walii oraz szkoły z Irlandii, Grecji, Francji, Hiszpanii i Polski. Współpracować będziemy przez trzy lata. Since the 1-st October we are working in a new project ERASMUS+ " Changing Europe- Researching the History and Geograpy of Modern Europe". The main coordinator is the school from Wales. In the project are involved seven schools: two Welsh schools and schools from Ireland, Greece, France, Spain and Poland.
